Administration Condemns 'Democratic Hoax' as Further Jeffrey Epstein Images Disclosed

Democratic lawmakers have published a new tranche of what they termed "disturbing" images from the property of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, including among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and ex-UK prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The opening batch of 19 photographs—a portion of which have been seen before—along with another 70 released later on Friday represent a minuscule portion of the nearly 100,000 images released to the House oversight committee, which is probing the actions and ties of Epstein.

The disgraced financier died by apparent suicide in a New York detention cell in 2019 after being indicted on sex-trafficking crimes.

Notable Figures in the Images

Included in the high-profile individuals seen in the opening set are celebrities featuring movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, creator of the Virgin business group.

Donald Trump appears in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is pictured with six women, whose faces are blacked out.

White House Response

The White House reacted to the release in a official comment, accusing Democrats of selectively "choosing" the photographs for partisan aims and to "seek to establish a false account."

"The Democrat hoax against President Trump has been time and again refuted," an administration official said, insisting that "the current government has achieved more for Epstein's victims than Democrats ever have by consistently demanding disclosure, releasing thousands of pages of documents, and calling for additional probes into Epstein's Democrat friends."

Democratic Lawmaker Statement

The photographs were disclosed without context, but per a California Democrat and senior member of the investigative panel, they raise more questions about Epstein's associations with the rich and powerful.

"Now is the occasion to stop this White House obfuscation and deliver justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his influential associates," he said in a release.

The release of these images occurs alongside the House panel proceeding with its inquiry into the Epstein matter.
