Residents observed substantial frozen pellets as large as seven centimeters in some areas. Meteorological experts announced that various areas across Queensland had been affected by significant hail.

Emergency response teams responded to nearly 600 calls for help across the region, mainly for property damage but also for downed trees and flooding.

During the peak on Sunday, over twenty-eight thousand electricity consumers in Victoria were without power.

Meteorological Predictions

Humid circumstances were forecast to persist along much of the state's eastern regions this next several days as a weather pattern continued to attract humidity against the coastal areas.

Tomorrow was forecast to be the heaviest precipitation period, with ongoing severe weather risk expected across multiple regions of both areas.

Health Warning

Health officials cautioned that there was an greater possibility of weather-related respiratory issues across the countryside regions, specifically given the existing atmospheric conditions.
